Le Tour de Waltham Forest 2017
Join us on Saturday 24 June to take part in Le Tour de Waltham Forest, our annual cycling event where residents discover the borough on two wheels.
This year you can choose from four different rides to take part in, from the family-friendly bronze and silver routes, to the challenging 27 mile platinum route. All routes start and finish at this year’s Summer Fest event.
If you chose to take part in the Gold ride (15 miles) or the Platinum ride (27 miles) there will be a £10 entry fee which will be donated to Haven House Children’s Hospice. This hospice provides a range of support to life-limited children and their families to support them through the most difficult circumstances imaginable. This includes planned respite, short break and end-of-life care, as well as services designed to improve emotional and physical well being, across The White House, our Holistic Care Centre and in our local community.
- You can fundraise for your favourite charity
- Take part in fancy dress
- Decorate your bike basket or pannier for a chance to win £100 of High Street vouchers! The surprise guest judge will be looking out for creativity and inventiveness, individuality and decorations that reflect the true individuality of the rider
- You'll automatically be entered into our prize draw to win prizes including brand new bikes, cycling jersey and more
- You'll receive a goodie bag, medal and certificate at the finish line
- Visit our Doctor Bike and Pimp my Wheels to give your bike some pre or post race TLC.
