Sign up for Waltham Forest’s annual community cycling event.

Le Tour de Waltham Forest is a wonderful day out for those who are new to travelling by pedal power and more experienced riders who want to get to know the borough better. Last year 850 people attended, so sign up now and get involved in the fun!

Starting from Leyton Jubilee Park, participants can choose from one of three routes: a leisurely 7.5km cycle, a 12km tour or an adventurous 18km ride along routes which will include the off-road beautiful nature spots of the Leyton marshes, the Walthamstow Wetlands, Lee Valley and Hackney marshes as well as some of the quiet residential streets of Walthamstow.

As well as exploring the borough, participants can take part in other cycling activities at Leyton Jubilee Park,including playing with a pedal-powered scaletrix, dancing to a pedal-powered jukebox and using bikes to make smoothies. Cycle Confident's Dr Bike team will also be on hand to check over brakes, tyres and wheels ahead of the event.

All participants will leave with a medal and a bag of cycling goodies, don’t forget to bring along a picnic or grab a bite to eat at the park’s café, KukkooLaLa, after your tour.
