TfL are organising a Christmas Community Day in Walthamstow and we would love you to come along!

The event offers an opportunity for the local community to ask bus operators and TfL managers questions. Following the success of our previous event at Stratford, we aim to do this in a fun and engaging way that encourages community spirit and civic engagement.

On Sunday there will be lots to see and do, see below:

• Several educational stands from Network Rail, the charity Eat or Heat, Dial-A-Ride, London is Open, TfL’s Apprenticeship Scheme
• Metropolitan Police, who will provide crime prevention advice and cycling safety tips
• London Underground will have stalls in the ticket hall of Walthamstow Tube Station where they'll be displaying the history of the Victoria Line exhibition.
• Choirs and musical performances to enjoy on the day
• Stagecoach and a heritage Routemaster bus that will double as a Santa’s grotto
• A chance to see TfL’s latest bus, which is powered by wireless ZeEUS charging technology
• A full programme of children's activities by The Transport Museum and a very talented face painter.

So come along to get into the Christmas spirit and purchase some last minute treats!
